FLIP It Thinking: From Coping To Thriving

Workshops

There is a Pay & Display car park underneath our studio. Access is on Merton Road, Worthing. If this is full, there is another Pay & Display car park at Beach House West car park.

Join Women in Construction Sussex (WiCS) for an interactive workshop hosted in partnership with Laughology.

FLIP it thinking: From coping to thriving will explore practical ways to build resilience, manage pressure and prevent burnout in construction and beyond. Through a blend of humour, science and sensitivity, you will learn how to recognise when you are simply coping and discover techniques to help you feel more focused, adaptable and in control.

The workshop will introduce Laughology’s FLIP model:

Focus, Language, Imagination and Pattern breaking.

Expect practical activities, fresh perspectives and a toolkit of habits to support wellbeing, brain health and more constructive responses to challenging situations.

The session will be delivered by Sarah, Lead Facilitator and Consultant at Laughology. With experience across banking, retail, education, customer service and learning and development, Sarah brings an engaging, practical approach to helping people and teams navigate change, pressure and personal growth.

Snacks and nibbles will be available and there will be additional time after the event for networking and catching up (upon popular demand!).

Come ready to think differently, connect with others and leave with practical tools you can use in everyday life and work.

Like all WiCS events, everyone is welcome!
