Keelboat Sailing Prizegiving Dinner & Laying Up Supper 2026

Sussex Yacht Club's Keelboat Section 2026 Prizegiving dinner & Laying Up Supper will be hosted on Saturday the 14th of November at Stow's restaurant.

A delicious three-course fine dining menu will be served, followed by the prizegiving ceremony, and an evening of celebration for afters!

Arrive by 1900hrs for 1930hrs sit down. Dress Code: Formal Cocktail Attire.

Buffalo king prawns
with a sweet chilli dipping sauce and salad garnish

Homemade leek and potato soup (vegan)
served with fresh bread

Parma ham and melon
with rocket, basil and hot honey drizzle

Mains

Roasted sirloin of beef
with a red wine jus, crispy roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and seasonal vegetables

Pan-fried sea bass
with a spinach, garlic and white wine sauce, served with crushed new potatoes and seasonal vegetables

Vegan Wellington
served with crushed new potatoes and seasonal vegetables

Desserts

Cheese board
with a selection of cheeses, biscuits, chutney and grapes

Sticky toffee pudding
with vanilla ice cream

Vegan chocolate brownie
with vegan ice cream

Ticket Sales Information

2026 Prize Winners will be able to purchase tickets for themselves and their crew from Monday 5th October.

Student and General Admission tickets for Sussex University Sailing Club and SYC members will be available to purchase from Monday 12th October.

This staggered release ensures that all 2026 prize winners and their crews have the opportunity to secure their tickets in good time, while also allowing Sussex University Sailing Club and SYC members the chance to join us and celebrate the end of a spectacular 2026 season.
