After 4 years, another tour of the Airport has been arranged.
NOTE: Parking is payable and timed.
There will have 2 groups of 12 and will be shown around the historic airport.
As well as being a choice aviation facility, Brighton City Airport is known for its historically significant Grade II Listed hangar and art deco listed terminal building. The Main Terminal building was opened on 13th June 1936 under the name ‘Brighton Hove and Worthing Joint Municipal Airport’ and still stands proud, today. Aviation enthusiasts can enjoy a guided tour of these wonderful historic buildings and learn about how the Airport was utilised during the Second World War and post-war period before visiting the Shoreham Airport Collection (SAC) located in the Main Airport Terminal.
You are free to stay and buy lunch in the delightful restaurant.
