With eleven new faces through the door during the summer and a few departures, several numbers were available for players to choose ahead of another season at Woodside Road.
National League rules state that clubs must allocate all numbers between 1-20, before allowing more variation as the season develops. However once a number has been used by an individual, it cannot be reused in the same campaign.
Starting in numerical order, former Dorking Wanderers goalkeeper Harrison Foulkes has become our new number one at the Sussex Transport Community Stadium, with the number previously being worn by Seb Stacey last year.
Alongside Taylor Seymour, who will continue with the number 13, Foulkes will be responsible for keeping the ball out of the net for the Rebels in the fifth tier.
Following Sam Beard’s decision to pursue an opportunity abroad, Queens Park Rangers loanee Cory Adjetey-Brew has been handed the number three shirt, while fellow summer acquisition Jack Wadham will wear the number four – with former owner Kwaku Frimpong moving to Aldershot Town shortly after Scott Davies’ appointment.
Central defender Jayden Moore follows in Aarran Racine and Ben Jackson’s footsteps by picking the number six, and our first signing in preparation for the National League – Noor Husin – will have the number eight under his name in Worthing colours. The Afghanistan international wore the numeral at Southend United and due to Basque midfielder Odei’s departure, the integer was available for Husin to continue his association with the integer.
After joining towards the back end of 2025/26 season, forward Wiktor Makowski has opted to switch from the #30 to the responsibility of the number nine shirt.
Down the flanks, tricky wingers Dom Hutchinson and Ashley Nathaniel-George will wear the number 10 and 11 shirts respectively.
Ricky Aguiar will be pulling the strings in the middle of the park with the number 15 on his back, while Owen Spicer has selected 18 for his number.
After wearing 27 in his first season in West Sussex, Ollie Godziemski has changed to #19, with fellow young forward Ramell Carter choosing 23.
Finally, midfield pairing Tyrique Clarke and the returning Harvey Boddy are now the Rebels’ number 22 and 25.
The majority of the players that were part of the title-winning squad chose to keep the same number they became Champions of National League South with, as Joel Colbran, Joe Cook, Razzaq Coleman De-Graft, Harry Ransom, Taylor Seymour, George Cox, Sam Packham, Bailey Smith, Matt Burgess, Brad Dolaghan and Teddy Jenks have all stuck with their digits.
