Jesus Cordon and his squad will begin life in the London and South East Women’s Regional Football League Premier Division this August, but in the meantime, have four pre-season friendlies to relish.
Training for the upcoming season started on Thursday 2nd July after a nine-week break, giving all players, old and new, almost two weeks to prepare for the opening fixture of the pre-season against AFC Portchester on Wednesday 15th July.
The Portchy finished 3rd in the Southern Region Women’s Football League Premier Division last campaign, losing just three of their 20 fixtures, and will continue to compete in the league this season.
Southampton Women’s FC, not to be confused with Southampton FC Women of the WSL 2, will travel to Worthing four days later. Another Southern Region Women’s Football League Premier side, which is notably the level in the football pyramid at which the Reds now find themselves.
The Rebels then begin August with a clash against Montpelier Villa Women, a club which hails from the not-so-distant Brighton & Hove. MVWFC placed 7th in the London and South East Women’s Regional Football League Division 1 South in 2025/26.
Staying in Sussex, the Reds’ final pre-season fixture is against Saltdean United Women, who swapped tiers with Worthing over the summer after achieving promotion out of the London and South East Women’s Regional Football League and into the National League Division One South East.

The London and South East Women’s Regional Football League Premier Division 2026/27 campaign will commence on the following Sunday 16th August. All league fixtures will be announced later this month on Monday, 20 July.
