The experienced full-back signed for the Reds in October 2025 and went on to feature 16 times in the 2025/26 campaign.
Formerly of Fortuna Sittard, Swindon Town and Northampton Town, the Englishman was a part of our National League South title-winning squad.
Cox scored his only goal for the club in the 4-1 victory over Slough Town back in February with a drilled finish.
After playing a part in pre-season, injury has prevented the 28-year-old from making an appearance this term.
The Club wishes George the very best for his future endeavours.
Good luck, George!
