Established over 100 years ago in Lancing, West Worthing, Gardner and Scardifield have grown into a trusted and reliable group of Builders Merchants, Electrical Wholesalers and DIY Suppliers throughout Sussex. Supplying materials to both trade and retail, they build long term customer relationships which benefit tradespeople and their customers while keeping a strong community focus.
This has led to steady growth over the decades, allowing them to invest in staff, open new branches, and offer more services and products.
They employ around 160 people in West Sussex, providing a supportive workplace where employees can learn and grow both personally and professionally.
This is shown by the many long serving employees they have across the business and the enthusiasm and knowledge the staff show when dealing with.
They proudly support staff, local events, local organisations & most importantly our customers. As an independent supplier they have built their reputation on service, reliability and flexibility.
With around 40 vehicles, including 9 LGV’s with crane lifts and numerous vans, they aim to offer a next-day service. For specialist products, they arrange direct delivery from the manufacturer to your specified delivery address.
