The 6’4 centre-back made his debut for the Reds in last night’s 2-1 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion U21s at the Sussex Transport Community Stadium, partnering Joe Cook in defence.
Capable of playing on either side of a back four and in midfield, Moore is the next promising talent to join on a temporary basis from a former/current Premier League academy, following QPR loanee Cory Adjetey-Brew and Hull City talent Ramell Carter through the door this week.
Highly-thought off across the South Coast, this is Moore’s second senior loan spell following a short stint at National League side Eastleigh in the latter stages of the 2025/26 season.
He recorded six appearances for the Spitfires from March onwards, completing 90 minutes in every outing in the fifth tier.
Moore has been on the books at his parent club Southampton since the age of eight and has progressed all the way through to become a core member of the Saints U21s side. The newest Rebel is yet to make his first-team debut at St Mary’s Stadium, although he was an unused substitute in the final day of the 2024/25 Premier League season against Arsenal.
On signing for the Reds, Jayden said: “The move happened really quickly, but the lads in the dressing room have welcomed me and made me feel really comfortable on my debut.”
