The teenager joins fellow QPR loanee and teammate Cory Adjetey-Brew in spending a temporary stint at the Sussex Transport Community Stadium during the 2026/27 season.
This represents the fourth loan spell for the 19-year-old, with previous experience in the English Football League with Harrogate Town last season and Morecambe in the National League.
Sutton has been on the books at Loftus Road since Under-12 level and has progressed through the ranks, emerging as one of the brightest young talents in West London.
Following a brief time in the Southern League Premier Division South on a work experience loan with Hanwell Town, the winger signed his first professional contract in January 2025.
Three months later, Sutton made his first-team debut for the R’s in the EFL Championship, featuring as a second-half substitute against Swansea City.
Half of last campaign was spent with Morecambe in the fifth tier, where he made 20 appearances for the Shrimps. After being recalled in January, our newest Red was loaned out to Harrogate Town and scored his first goal in senior professional football during a 2-1 victory over Cambridge United in February.
The necessary paperwork and ratification has been completed in time for Emmerson to be available for selection for tomorrow’s Enterprise National League match against FC Halifax Town. Sutton has been handed the number 21 shirt.
