The 18-year-old takes Adam Hinshelwood’s side signings to double figures for the summer, with the attack-minded creator able to play in various positions across the front three.
Ramell rose to stardom as a 11-year-old whilst on the books at Tottenham Hotspur’s academy, with a series of viral videos attracting over 100,000 subscribers on YouTube and catapulting the youngster into the public eye and on the radar of almost every notable academy system in the country.
He then transitioned from north London to East Yorkshire in 2024 in a move to Hull City. After a couple of seasons of scoring at will for their U18s and U21s side, Carter signed his first professional contract with the Tigers in February 2026.
This summer, the talent has been tipped with a move on loan to Football League clubs, but all parties mutually agreed Woodside was the best destination for his development. It’s Carter’s first foray into senior football, with the 18-year-old embracing the challenge of competing in the National League with the Reds.
“When I heard Worthing were interested, it made me really happy and I cannot wait to get started,” Carter revealed after arriving on loan.
His new manager, Adam Hinshelwood, shared Carter’s enthusiasm on his loan deal at the Sussex Transport Community Stadium.
“Ramell is a player with huge potential, a left-footed attack-minded player who has great balance, delivery and can play anywhere across the front line,” Hinsh revealed.
“He’s a player we feel can get the fans on the edge of their seat every time he gets the ball. Alongside Cory, we have brought in two very promising young players who we are delighted to have join us.”
Ramell has signed terms in time to be available for tonight’s friendly against Brighton & Hove Albion U21s at the Sussex Transport Community Stadium.
