After impressing against Adam Hinshelwood’s side in last week’s pre-season friendly for QPR’s Development Squad against the National League South champions at the Sussex Transport Community Stadium, the Reds have opted to recruit the teenager to bolster our defensive options.
A physically strong left-back, the 18-year-old has represented the West Londoners since his release from Arsenal in 2024.
Despite his tender age, this is not the first time the newest Red has taken the plunge into senior football. Last season, the defender was exposed to the demands of senior football in the Isthmian League Premier Division with Welling United.
Fresh off signing his first professional contract with the R’s earlier on this month, a stint at Woodside Road represents another formative and tangible step in his burgeoning career.
On signing for the Reds on loan, Adjetey-Brew said: “This is a big step in my footballing career – I just want to keep pushing and hopefully I do well.”

Adam Hinshelwood also shared his thoughts after recruiting the full-back: “We are delighted to welcome Cory to the Club. Last week, he played excellently against us and really stood out to myself and the management team.
“He’s a really strong full-back who showed great athleticism, getting up and down the line in a brilliant mannner.”
