The 22-year-old defender takes the step up from sixth-tier Steyning Town to fortify Jesus Cordon’s defence.
Born and raised right here in Worthing, Rose joined the Worthing Atoms at a young age, playing alongside boys until transitioning into girls’ football at 15.
A spell at Shoreham then followed in her later teenage years, before she joined Steyning ahead of the 2022/23 season, notably alongside fellow Rebel, Amber Hazlewood.
After four seasons of experience on the other side of the South Downs, the centre-back has committed to Worthing FC Women for the 2026/27 season.
Rose scored the maiden goal of our pre-season this summer against Southampton Women’s FC, a thumping close-range header, showcasing her attacking prowess from set-pieces.
She has also started both of our league fixtures thus far, lining up against Bromley and Brentford this August.

Speaking to Rose ahead of her announcement, she stated that her first couple of months at Woodside Road had been “a challenge, but a good challenge”, citing that the new division had been a testing but exciting experience.
