Sophie Richards Becomes Worthing FC Women’s Latest Recruit

Hailing from the Midlands, Richards played local mixed grassroots football from the ages of four to 17 before joining Burton Albion Women.

She spent four seasons playing for the Brewers’ first team, becoming a regular fixture in the Albion backline.

Richards has already made a strong impression on those at Woodside Road, scoring in the Reds’ final game of pre-season against Fleet Town, and will now look forward to the season ahead as an official member of the Red Army.
