Standing at 6’4 tall, the temporary spell at Woodside Road represents the defender’s eighth loan away from his parent club,as the 21-year-old takes his next step in his development.
Last season, Waller turned out for two different National League sides. At the start of 2026, the MK Dons loanee spent a month with eventual play-off winners Rochdale before finishing the remainder of the 2025/26 term with Wealdstone.
This loan deal at the Sussex Transport Community Stadium sees the Englishman reunited with Assistant Manager Jon Meeney, with the pair working together at Sutton United in the 2024/25 campaign.
Waller is well-versed in the fifth tier, making 11 appearances last season and featuring in 21 matches the year before with Sutton.
Vastly experienced despite his tender years, Waller has also enjoyed stints with Billericay, Banbury and Tring Athletic away from Stadium MK.
On securing Waller’s services until the start of December, Manager Adam Hinshelwood said:” Charlie is an exciting prospect who operates as a left sided defensive player, which will allow us to play with a back three in certain games should we choose to do it.”
“Another individual with National League experience will ensure we are better equipped for future matches.”
Waller’s paperwork has been signed in time for the youngster to be eligible to feature in tonight’s National League Cup match against Norwich City U21s at the Sussex Transport Community Stadium.
