Of course! These events are all about joining a group and making friends. If you simply want to sit on your own, that's fine, too. No pressure!

Absolutely not, you can simply come along to enjoy crafting and chatting!

All materials are provided, however, if there is something you're really keen to use, you are of course welcome to bring it!

Yes! the Goose will have a selection of curated cocktails for the night, alongside beer, soft drinks, spirits and wines. Emilia's Pizza is also available, and you are welcome to eat this throughout the night!

Join us for an evening of bookish crafts, creativity and a little literary escapism. Whether you're a romantasy enthusiast, a romance reader, a fantasy lover, a thriller fan or just someone with a slightly out-of-control TBR pile, you're very welcome.

We'll be spending the evening creating a few bookish bits and pieces to take home:

📖 Reading Journal Making

Create your own personalised reading journal, ready to fill with book reviews, reading lists, favourite quotes and all your literary thoughts. There'll be plenty of decorative bits and pieces to make it completely your own.

🎀 DIY Pencil Case Decorating

Give a plain pencil case a little makeover with stickers, ribbons, embellishments, paints and other lovely bits. Perfect for keeping all your reading essentials together.

📚 Blind Date with a Book

You'll also get to pick a mystery book to take home! Each one will be wrapped up with a few little clues about its genre, tropes and general vibe. No judging a book by its cover this time...

A few things to know:

All craft materials are included in your ticket.
No crafting experience is needed whatsoever.
You don't need to bring anything with you.
Coming on your own is absolutely fine! These evenings are all about meeting people and finding your little community of regulars.
