By paying your subscription fee to Independent Worthing, and using the services provided by the membership, you are accepting the terms and conditions laid out in this document.

If you have been given free access to a subscription for any reason, you agree to these terms and conditions by using your subscription.

1) Changes to offers and these terms

Independent Worthing have the right to change the offers, and the terms and conditions, at any time and for any reason. It is the user's/subscriber's responsibility to check the website regularly to keep updated regarding current offers and these membership terms and conditions. Continued use of your membership will be deemed as acceptance of any changes.

2) Membership use and security

2.1 Personal use

Any use of your membership is for you alone and it is your responsibility to ensure this.

2.2 Compromised security

If you have any reason to believe your membership security has been compromised, you must inform us in writing immediately.

3) Keeping your details up to date

Please make sure you provide us with accurate information and ensure your banking and contact details are kept up to date.

4) Ending or cancelling membership

4.1 Discontinuation by Independent Worthing

Independent Worthing reserves the right to discontinue your membership at any time and for any reason. In the unlikely event of this happening, we will inform you in writing.

4.2 Cancellation by you

You have the right to cancel your membership at any time. If however you cancel within 14 days of the next due payment, your membership will be cancelled after that payment.

5) 14-day cancellation period

If you want to be able to use your membership straight away, you will need to instruct us that you are happy to opt out of the 14 day cancellation period we are obliged to offer by law. You do this when you sign up, by instructing us that you are happy to allow payment straight away. This also applies to renewals.

6) Non-transferability

It is not possible to transfer your membership to someone else.

7) Pricing

The price of the subscription to access member business discounts is £2.99 per month or £29.99 per year for the solo plans and £4.49 per month or £44.99 per year for the joint plans. If pricing changes, notice of at least 30 days will be provided in writing.

8) Bank charges

Any charges you may incur by your own bank related to payment are borne by you.

9) Refunds and transfers

Membership payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

10) Third parties and member businesses

10.1 Third-party security

Independent Worthing isn't liable for any breach in security related to a third party provider — e.g. our payment system. Reasonable data protection measures are implemented.

10.2 Third-party services and satisfaction

Independent Worthing does not guarantee satisfaction from services provided by member businesses and requests subscriber feedback about experiences.

10.3 Member business terms

It is your responsibility to make sure you are aware of the terms and conditions of each member business prior to accessing their offers.

10.4 No vetting or endorsement

Member businesses are not vetted or endorsed. Subscribers must exercise due diligence before engaging in transactions.

11) Service availability

Unavailable services due to business closure or website issues are expected and do not qualify for refunds or complaints.

12) Refusal of service by member businesses

Member businesses may refuse service or decline to fulfill offers based on capacity constraints.

13) "In writing" means email

"In writing" refers specifically to email communication. Subscribers should maintain updated email addresses and check spam folders regularly.

14) Liability

Independent Worthing cannot be responsible or liable for any perceived loss, damage or other difficulty arising from interaction with member businesses or use of the membership.
