Chronic Pain At Menopause
Every year The International Menopause Society highlights a specific aspect of menopause on World Menopause Day. 18th October. This year, the topic is "Chronic Pain at Midlife". This is a subject that is close to my heart.
Dealing with chronic pain at any time of life can be very isolating and challenging. When you then add in menopause symptoms and the impact that these can also have on quality of life, the chronic pain can spiral and quality of life can be significantly impacted. With the right information and support at this time, the burden can lift.
This is a small group event of 8, aimed at women who experience any form of chronic pain (fibromyaligia, musculoskeletal pain, migraine, pelvic pain - just to name a few), and are in perimenopause or postmenopause.
My aim is to educate about pain and menopause and to give you some practical ways to reduce the impact of that pain.
Just by turning up, helps to validate that pain.
Discussions and questions in this session will be general rather than client specific as this is the approach that will benefit all that attend. If you want to discuss your case specifically, please book a consultation with me to discuss.
I look forward to helping and supporting you.
