Michele Payne

I've been a surface designer, pattern-maker and illustrator for almost thirty years, since graduating with a Fashion/Textiles degree from Brighton University in 1994. I love everything about colour, trend, art and design, especially creating cute characters, patterns and placement designs for the baby and children's market.

Living in Worthing on the South Coast, as well as being a designer I'm a mum with a penchant for painting abstract art, drinking peppermint tea and listening to loud, experimental music. Over my career I've been lucky enough to collaborate with brands including Vital Baby, Lilly + Sid, Lakeland, SmileyWorld, Pigeon Organics, Turtledove London, Hibou Home, Mothercare, Lucy + Yak, Tesco, Mamas + Papas and John Lewis.
